Today was a very memorable day as Maj Gen Ahmed Bilal (retd ) Chairman SUPARCO had invited us for a get to-gather at DHA Golf Club and it enabled us meet old friends, seniors, contemporaries including some very talented serving officers. On behalf of attendees I thank Gen Bilal for his hospitality and courtesy.

We all look forward to the pictures and contact details of the invitees from Gen Bilal's side.

Earlier this year Brig Muhammad Bashir, Te, retd  who is based at Pindi and can be contacted via 0321 855 0843 had also invited signallers in Ramada Hotel at Karachi Airport.

    OBITUARY : My course mate & room mate and a great talented person, committed friend and professional officer Brig Mukhtar Ahmed, M.Sc, te passed away recently. May Allah bless his soul. amen. Iinnalahe wa Innalahay rajoon


    Let us also pray that may Allah bless the souls of all those of us who have passed away in the years before.

    Just got news though belated that Major Agha Amir Ahsan passed away 28 Nov 12 at Pindi. May Allah bless the departed soul. amen

    He was a second generation SIGNALLER had been with us in GHQ Sigs and after retirement contributed articles especially about Pindi and Super Ice Cream -- from where I got in touch with Col Salam ex 14 Sigs after about 40 years.

      Its a very sad news for me, we served together in 5 Sigs, then in Multan with Maj Gen (Retd) Riaz Mahmud as our CO and Shaheed Gen Zia-ul-Haq as our Corps Commander. Then single/young Lt Ahsan was the Adjutant and I was a Senior Married with kids Capt (Later I took from him and he was posted to Arty Sig Coy. Later we kept on meeting at Rawalpindi while he was then a very sober & family wala Major but was worried about his Diabetes. He was a very cooperative and loving colleague, I pray that Allah Bless him with eternal peace and Jannah

    Hope this finds you and all yours well. We are all indeed fortunate that we have Brig Khalid Hassan Butt a second gen Signals officer and son of our Gen Hamid Hassan Butt as Comd Sigs 5 Corps. He recently hosted a SIGNALLERS GET TOGETHER which reflects his espirit de corps and positive attitude. May Allah bless him and his staff with success. aameen

    On this occasion we missed some Signallers and am sure you will agree that we need to update our data. During my meeting today Brig Butt desired to update the list for which have volunteered to facilitate. This task can only be achieved with your assistance and support.
